PoE Switch for Simplified Network Setup

An Ethernet Hub is a basic networking device that connects a series of devices with Ethernet ports to a single network channel. Ethernet hubs support the physical layer of the OSI model and send power signals from one port to all other connected ports. Ethernet hubs are useful with unsophisticated network configurations, like with small desktop, legacy or home networks. For instance, if several devices within a household need to share a single Ethernet-based Internet connection, an Ethernet hub can easily split the connection into multiple parts. Nevertheless, hubs do not efficiently manage traffic compared to switches. Also, performance issues may arise in more complex or challenging environments because all devices connected to a hub share the same bandwidth.
