PoE Switch for Simplified Network Setup

A POE network switch integrates the functions of a network switch and has Power over Ethernet features. This type of network switch can connect several network devices and supply power to the POE enabled devices within a network. In a building wide network, a POE network switch can be used on a single floor to network and power all IP-based devices like computers, IP phones, security cameras, and access points. It also handles data traffic between the devices, gives priority to certain kinds of traffic (like voice traffic for IP phones), and supplies power to the devices. This method enhances the ease of deployment and management of the network because the provisioning of data and power is done by one device.
